KURT COBAIN....THE LAST GREAT MUSICIAN.....CLUB 27...

Today, for some reason, I am compelled to write about Kurt Cobain and his unwillingness rising to fame as voice of a Generation X. Seriously, does anyone really want the title as a spokeman of a generation? Anyone? Thus, I can understand Kurt's pressure of stardom and his personal lives be flip upside down literally overnight. To some, fame is their ultimate satisfaction, but with Kurt Cobain it was more of a hindrance, laboring, and less artistic freedom. IMHO, Kurt Cobain would have prefer to be less of a rock star and more as a punk band instead. Yes, fame can kill the best of them!..RIP KURT COBAIN....

NIRVANA.....20th Anniversary...Nevermind Album...Legacy...

I was literally just graduated from high school when Nirvana exploded onto the music scene... Music was never the same again, for good or bad, depends on the interpretation of an individual. As for me, I loved every minute of it, because I knew I was witnessing something special. I, also, knew Kurt Cobain had the potential to be as big as John Lennon. You can't say the Beattles without mentioning Nirvana as the latter continuation of rock music. The early nineties was an exciting times and in some ways unexpecting times as well. No one knew what really happen and why it did. However,I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING else nowadays. Sure, in today's relevant times, so many aspects are at our disposals..such as the internet, youtube, facebook, twitter, iphone, texting, white teeth in just 7 days, ect. ect... However, when it comes to music something is still missing...people say rock is dead... maybe... I just think Kurt Cobain literally crippled rock music because can any rock musician emotionally dare conquer the world and actually live to tell about it? I highly doubt it..Thereins lies the problems.

Linsanity Was Onced In A Lifetime Experienced....

I, for one, will always root for the under-dog as inspiration to us all. Jeremy Lin was bounced around the league simply because of cultural stereotype that asain are not good at sports is outright ridiculous misinform. I,personally can school any grown man shooting the basketball. Yes, I'm not over 6ft tall, but how many white, black, red, orange, green skin out there are that tall too. Hopefully, Jeremy Lin success can break down more barrier and typical stereotype nonsense. Jeremy Lin, unfortunately, career thus far in Houston has been a huge disappointment. Is it because of the big contract? Possibly. Could it be because the addition of James Harden? Likely yes. Or how about the bad coaching in Keven Mchale and Sampson? More likely yes. To me, it is a combination of variables that lead to Jeremy Lin uneventful play thus far in Houston. I think Jeremy Lin playing style is more of instinctive play rather than systematic iso and spot-up shooting three. Unfortunately, that is not Jeremy Lin forte, but apparently no one send a message to Mchale. Until, the Rockets replace the coaching staff or trade Jeremy Lin to a different team that actually, intelligently, know how to utilize him, then Jeremy Lin will remain in limbo. Jeremy Lin continued to struggle again....what else is new right?

A-Rod Dumb As A Dog....Ichiro Proven A Better Player and Human Being....

Ichiro Suzuki, one of the greatest baseball player's to ever put on a uniform is so hated by many Seattle fanbase and media is astounding. Can a team, with terrible F/O management and horrendous FA signing be Ichiro's fault? Apparently, punk writer like Geoffbaker think so. Even, listening to Seattle sport radio talk shows like Salk-n-Brock and Groz are even worse...these guys are so unprofessional it's quite scary how they gotten the job in the first place. In some ways, it's a shame that a singular player be blamed for the team's failure is just downright misinformed. Haters gonna hate. Fact. Perhaps, being successful asian athlete's indeed a double standard here in America. Would Ichiro be treated this bad if he was white? The answer already is so obvious to anyone. Racism and stereotype will always exist even in modern times. Hopefully, Ichiro Suzuki playing for the Yankees have a better chance att he World Series and stamp his legacy as legitimate and ultimate player's as one of the greatest to ever play the game. Point blank.
